Siemens Healthineers, Stryker Partner on Neurovascular Robotics

Siemens Healthineers and Stryker have begun a strategic partnership in the field of neurovascular robotics.

The duo plans to develop a unique robotic system that can perform a range of elective and emergency neurovascular procedures, including treatment for strokes and aneurysms. It combines two industry leaders—Siemens Healthineers in robotics and image-guided therapy, and Stryker in neurovascular tech.

The partnership covers robotic system design, access device and implant integration, imaging for robotic navigations, and procedural workflow optimization.

Today, many neurovascular procedures require simultaneous management of multiple systems and tools. By combining robotics, imaging, and therapeutic devices in one ecosystem, Stryker and Siemens Healthineers hope to boost physician performance, improve procedural precision, and allow faster treatment—improving outcomes in complex hemorrhagic cases and time-sensitive ischemic strokes.

The first phase of this collaboration will focus on co-developing the integrated ecosystem and validating its clinical value, in partnership with leading physicians.
